Unmanned Safety Institute Welcomes New Director of Education

The Unmanned Safety Institute, the global leader in UAS training and certification, announced that Michelle Dina has joined the Unmanned Safety Institute (USI) team as the new Director of Education, effective immediately. Dina will be responsible for commercial and academic organizations’ client support, unmanned systems training, curriculum development, and workforce and business development.

Dina, a graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in International Area Studies and a pilot, is passionate about STEAM, developing the next generation of aviation professionals, and growing unmanned systems across all industries and verticals. Dina started her aviation career working for fixed base operator Ronson Aviation in sales and marketing before joining the launch team of startup e-commerce air charter marketplace, CharterX, which acquired aviation service provider, Wyvern Consulting, Ltd., in 2006.  Most recently she was Director of Sales and Business Development at Wyvern having held successive positions leading Customer Support, Marketing, Corporate Relations, and Sales through multiple mergers and acquisitions of the company. Ms. Dina has been involved with several industry organizations and has substantial experience providing customers in both the manned and unmanned sectors with technical solutions and consulting expertise, promoting safety risk management and professionalism to create unique commercial opportunities for her clients.
