Training provider builds upon its workforce development and aviation safety-based certifications to drive standardization of knowledge and skills into evolving workforce needs.
Orlando, FL -- Unmanned Safety Institute, the leading aviation-based safety training provider for unmanned operations, today launched a new digital badging program for its certification holders. Individuals who complete coursework/training and earn a passing score on one of the proctored exams or operational evaluations will earn an Unmanned Safety Institute digital credential.
”By providing a secure, digital representation of Unmanned Safety Institute safety and operational certifications, our over ten thousand credentialed pilots can more easily manage, share and make use of their credentials within their networks, across social media platforms and on their resumes,” said Josh Olds, President of USI. “For employers, our digital badges make it easy to standardize current remote pilot teams, identify individuals with the knowledge and skills commensurate to the size and complexity of their operations, and to verify that those skillsets are relevant and up-to-date.”
USI is working with Credly, the digital credentialing leader, to provide digital badges. Credly collaborates with top global training providers, credential issuers, associations and academic institutions that are similarly focused on the power of verified skills and achievements. Credly’s Acclaim platform transforms knowledge, skills and achievements into digital credentials that empower individuals to connect with learning and career opportunities.
"Employers are building entire talent strategies backed by digital credentials to make more informed, efficient decisions around new hires, talent allocation, and team building, "said Jonathan Finkelstein, CEO of Credly. "Unmanned Safety Institute is preparing a uniquely qualified and skilled workforce for the future of aviation technology, and their digital credentials serve as valuable decision-making tools for employers in this emerging field."
