Position Title: Enterprise Solutions Support                                 Department: Commercial Sales

Position Purpose

Drive new business growth and customer retention within the civil and commercial markets at USI. This role combines consultative sales, sales team support, and proactive client success to achieve revenue targets through both new client acquisition, sales team support, and renewals. As a forward-facing representative of USI, you will build lasting partnerships with enterprise clients, ensuring they maximize value from USI’s UAS solutions while expanding USI's market footprint. The position will work in Orlando (Oviedo Office) with regional and national travel required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

(percentages to shift with supervisor oversight)

Civil and Commercial Sales Team Support (60%)

  • Provide proactive administrative and operational support to the sales team to help drive new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate and manage meeting logistics, scheduling, and follow-up actions to ensure productive client and internal team engagements.
  • Maintain and update CRM records, ensuring data accuracy and visibility to support effective sales pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Assist in the development of sales proposals, preparation of invoices, and tracking of pipeline progression to enable timely deal closure and revenue growth.
  • Act as a key liaison between the sales team and internal departments to streamline processes and remove administrative barriers to sales success.

New Business Development (Primary Focus - 20%)


  • Own and execute growth strategy targeting enterprise organizations. 

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects; lead full sales cycle from discovery to close.

  • Navigate commercial procurement processes and develop tailored proposals.

  • Leverage existing networks and identify strategic opportunities for expansion.

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business sales quotas.

    Customer Retention & Renewals (Civil & Commercial Focus - 10%)

  • Proactively manage renewal cycles to ensure high customer retention rates.

  • Conduct regular client success check-ins to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients achieve desired outcomes with USI solutions.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and Operations teams for seamless delivery and support.

    Territory & Relationship Management (10%)

  • Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, funding opportunities, and competitive landscape within your defined territory.

  • Represent USI at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

  • Ensure accurate CRM data management (HubSpot) including pipeline, sales activities, and forecasting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience).
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Completion of USI training & certifications (provided to candidate upon hire).
  • Minimum 3-5 years in B2B consultative sales, preferably in the secondary or post-secondary education markets, workforce development, or aviation/UAS sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and managing renewals.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and MS Office suite.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Team player who contributes positively to the culture, mission and vision of USI.
  • Must reside within assigned territory; ability to travel between 25-50% of the time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The employee will work in Orlando office.
  • Travel to customer locations and industry conferences to conduct business will be required (all travel costs reimbursed).
  • Position requires work in both office and UAS classroom environments.
  • Occasional work in outdoor environments to participate in flight training or other UAS related activities may be required.
  • Must be able to hear well and speak clearly.
  • Must be able to conduct virtual and in-person presentations.
