USI is excited to announce a new partnership with Central Arizona College to offer three robust training opportunities in drone aviation. These programs aim to equip students with FAA certification preparation, hands-on flight training, industry-recognized credentials, and are aligned with international ASTM standards that support career entry and advancement in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This training program is offered as an ASTM Approved Training Provider through USI.
Offered through CAC’s Community & Continuing Education department, the programs include:
“These programs meet the urgent need for skilled remote pilots across industries like agriculture, construction, logistics, and public safety,” said EmmaLea Bittner, Community & Continuing Education Coordinator. “They’re designed for both newcomers to the drone space and professionals seeking to upgrade their credentials.”

All programs lead to stackable, industry-recognized credentials backed by ASTM International and the FAA Safety Team. USI is a nationally recognized training provider whose curriculum aligns with evolving industry standards and employer expectations.
